Right now I'm reading contest entries and it's amazing how much easier my brain enters a story when my eye is being embraced rather than poked with the rusty fork of Courier. My cousin did her book Goose with alternating fonts to delineate first person POVs. I think she now regrets it. I hope you don't let it stop you from reading it if you ever get the chance.Erika Hamerquisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09721599229029331587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8771986852817302610.post-66007517773003739212007-05-29T11:43:00.000-06:002007-05-29T11:43:00.000-06:00Now that's annoying. Every time I have to shift fonts, its jarring, and not in a good way. Maybe the author wants that jar, but it jars me right out of the book, which I'm guessing would not be the author's intent!Ysabeau Wilcehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01684128551495819812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8771986852817302610.post-21404040017841103502007-05-29T11:20:00.000-06:002007-05-29T11:20:00.000-06:00I use Times New Roman 11 for admin, and Arial 11 f...I use Times New Roman 11 for admin, and Arial 11 for non-fiction writing.

Tricia Sullivan's Double Vision was wrecked for me because the conventions of the three fonts she used gave away the plot.Farahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14101017914762871334noreply@blogger.com
